Job Overview

3i-Infotech is seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Engineer – Server Admin to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for provisioning, securing, and monitoring servers, managing data center operations, and ensuring the stability and scalability of Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, harden, and monitor new Windows Server installations
• Work in data center environments ensuring high availability and reliability
• Assess the stability, security, and scalability of installed systems
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policies
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
• Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as:
• VMware
• Hyper-V
• Nutanix
• KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine)

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
• Practical experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, KVM)
• Expertise in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Management
• PowerShell scripting skills for task automation and configuration
• Hands-on experience in a data center or large-scale enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like MCSA, VMware VCP, or Nutanix Certified Professional are a plus
• Ability to handle server incidents and provide Tier-2/3 support
• Willingness to work in 24x7 support environments, if required
